Our Personnel
Dr. Vaithilingam G. Dev
Medical Director Ph.D, FACMG
Dr. Dev is a well-known scientist and an expert in human cytogenomics. He completed his human genetics training at Columbia University and served in it as faculty. Dr. Dev is a Diplomate of American Board of Medical Genetics and a founding Fellow of American College of Medical Genetics. He has served as Medical Laboratory Director of Clinical Cytogenomics laboratories and Associate Professor at Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, TX, and later at Vanderbilt University Medical School. He founded Genetics Associates, Inc, in Nashville, TN and successfully ran it for over 30 years.
Dr. Anna Chockalingam
Molecular Director DVM, Ph.D.
Dr. Chockalingam completed her training in Immunology & Microbiology at Cornell University, NY and clinical cytogenomics training in Nashville, TN. Her expertise includes, sanger sequencing, NGS and bioinformatics for oncology and reproductive genetics. She founded Gene2Genome in 2016 as an independent reference laboratory. In addition, she served as clinical consultant for network laboratories in US, Asia, and Mexico and as Molecular director at Genetics Associates Inc. She has over 15 years of clinical laboratory experience in the field of inherited genetics and molecular oncology.
